Backflow happens when water flows the wrong way — from an irrigation system, boiler, fire line, or commercial process back into the public drinking water supply. Backflow prevention assemblies stop that from happening, and California water purveyors require them on many commercial, multi-unit, and irrigation connections.
Those assemblies must be tested when they're installed and typically every year after that by a certified tester, with results submitted to the water purveyor. Miss the deadline and you can face notices, fees, or even interruption of water service.
We test reduced-pressure (RP) assemblies, double check valve assemblies, and pressure vacuum breakers; repair failed devices with rebuild kits or replace them; and install new assemblies where they're required. Test reports are completed and submitted for you.
Everything we handle under backflow prevention & testing across Los Angeles, Orange County, the Valley, and the Westside.

Our reviews come from real emergencies — and how we handled them.
“We had a sewer backup on a Sunday night — our laundry room was completely flooded. I called Rooter Rescue at 9 PM and they had a tech at the door within 45 minutes. He cleared a major root intrusion in the main line and had everything flowing again by midnight. I couldn't believe the response time. They're the only plumber I'll ever call.”

“My water bill had been climbing for months and I couldn't figure out why. Rooter Rescue used electronic detection equipment to find a slab leak under my kitchen floor without ripping up a single tile — found it in under an hour. The repair was clean, fast, and came in exactly at the estimate. These guys are total pros.”

“My water heater died on a Friday morning. I called three plumbers — two couldn't get to me until next week. Rooter Rescue had a new unit installed that same afternoon. The tech explained every option clearly, gave me a fair price without any pressure, and left the work area cleaner than he found it. Five stars isn't enough.”
